What You Don’t See During A Cruise On Harmony of the Seas

Just another one of Royal Caribbeans epic videos which shows us an insight in the world’s largest cruise ship.

Harmony of the Seas is one large cruise ship but to manage all the sophisticated elements a lot of thought and management is needed. The cruise line has released a new video explaining to us just how they keep the ship’s Central Park neighborhood so green and full of life.

There are a lot of mechanics behind the scenes which keeps the Central Park in working order. To keep the 12,000 plants and trees in perfect condition onboard there is an intricate system of irrigation, fertilization, lighting and drainage system below which cruise guests can’t see. It isn’t as easy putting down the earth and throwing in the plants, and here’s Royal Caribbean to explain it all below.

Engineering Central Park:

Harmony of the Seas is the third Oasis-class vessel at a gigantic 227,000 gross tons and carrying over 5,400 passengers at double occupancy. The ship is currently based out of Port Everglades, Florida sailing week-long Eastern and Western Caribbean itineraries.
