Skiing in Utah
Vail to be exact.
Now the biggest skiing resort in the United States. To accomplish this feat, Vail purchased Park City Mountain Resort and making them as ONE.. The monster Quicksilver Gondola does the job. The area (now a mega resort ) is now called Park City. It has over 300 runs, 17 mountain peaks, with a total of 38 lifts.
Deer Valley has become a 5 star service area with perfectly groomed slopes that only allow skiers — that’s right —- no snowboarders . The resort has all the 5 star amenities like free ski storage, and top notch customer services staff positioned at everylift and venue. Did I mention that the area has many great bars and restaurants.
Chacayo — Southwestern Faire
Bandit’s Grill — Great Ribs
Handle — American Cuisine
I mentioned great food already ———— But now would you like to go for a ride on a Bobsled ????? Park City had the Olympics in 2002 and the bobsled run is in perfect shape. You can go for a ride down that slippery slope — at over 100 mph,,, pulling 3g’s
NO —- they will not let you drive.
Location: 50 minutes from Salt Lake City airport and Park City offers a free bus system once in town.
Sound like a fun place to be for a Winter Wonderland or just a Snow Bunny.
