Can't get over how much you love Weatherspoon's, it's a great place for really cheap eats but the prices at Gatwick must be double what you pay in a normal 'spoons'. Glad you had a really great time on PandO and a safe flight home. Heres a bit of trivia – Eric Lanlard who created your high tea on Virgin Atlantic is actually one of P&Os Food Heros and creates some great cakes & teas on Britannia (too great, exploding waistlines galore). Something to watch out for when you go on Iona as I hear his cakes & deserts will be on there too!

I have really enjoyed watching your videos. I found it interesting how you felt about being on a ship that is British. We are going on a Royal Caribbean cruise next year, after always being on P&O. Thanks for sharing your trip and I'm glad you both had an amazing time. πŸ›³

How Funny! We were actually also flying Virgin Atlantic (VS) from LGW too but chose to stay at the BLOC hotel in the South Terminal instead…. so we totally had "Spoons" at our disposal (…. which we did use!) but did not have to necessarily go find it! We also found the Southwestern Railway from Southampton to Gatwick quite convenient, but also would not risk a "before 3:00 pm" departure probably….. just to be safe!

Thanks for all your posts! Loved seeing the parallels of traveling out of Southampton with different/similar itineraries….!

    KUDOS!
