Virgin Voyages continues to tease new cruise ship details since the first ever Virgin keel laying ceremony on October 31, 2017. The new cruise line which is based in Miami, Florida posted a new video which detailed the ships “non-funnel” with an explanation from the designers.

The designers from RWD explain the thinking behind funnel of Virgin Voyages first ever cruise ship which will enter service in 2020. The cruise line wanted a new kind of funnel and not in the traditional sense. The designers showed a sneak peak and their designs and we are teased further about one of the most anticipated future cruise ships in the industry.
About the First Virgin Voyages Cruise Ship
The “non-funnel” will first come into reality on the first ever Virgin Voyages cruise ship. This new class vessel is currently under construction at the Fincantieri shipyard in Genoa, Italy. The new ship will be completed in 2020.
The yet to be named Virgin cruise ship will be 110,000 gross tons and be able to carry 2,800 guests. It wouldn’t be Virgin without something unique and the cruise line intends to make waves within the industry with adult only cruising. The ship will sail Caribbean cruises from Miami, Florida.
